The Špilberk Castle has undergone many changes from the Middle Ages up to the present time, which most visitors have no idea about. Our new tour The Story of the Castle will tell you all about its fascinating history.
Together with a guide, you can see both the exteriors of the castle, which offer breathtaking views of Brno, undisclosed up to now, as well as the interiors.
Additionally, you’ll get the unique opportunity to visit areas that have never been open to the public before, such as the Renaissance Lounge with the only preserved Renaissance window or the so-called Swallow’s Nest, a lounge built during World War II for Wehrmacht officers with an original, beautifully decorated tiled stove.
The guides have also prepared all sorts of interesting facts and legends about the castle and the characters associated with it.
