From Castle to Fortress
A permanent exposition on the history of construction of Špilberk Castle, presenting notable archaeological discoveries. The display includes history of a castle well and cistern. Visitors can also see the foundations of a robust cylindrical tower dating back to the 13th century that would guard the access road from Old Brno and with its dimensions belonged to the largest in the lands of the Czech Crown.
